Segs in the City

I have always wanted to ride on a Segway...FINALLY, there was a Groupon for 50% off a 2-hour segway tour in Annapolis, MD. We had never been to Annapolis so this was the perfect excuse. We made it into a weekend trip by staying in a hotel and taking the tour the following morning. We had a babysitter come up since they didn't have baby-sized helmets for them to ride on our backs :)

I made the following video! It is super cheesy but we took sooooo much footage that I couldn't possibly post them all...so I merged what I could.
P.S. I have no reason for picking a Bob Marley song...it seemed "vacation-y" to me.

We went at the very beginning of July...and it was really heating up by this time of the year. The cool breeze from the 12 mph segways felt good.

Jared is a real dare devil when it comes to trying new things. He was the only one in our tour group that got an off-road segway so he was pushing the limits on it. These things don't go that fast so it was more like slow-motion stunts :)

This is the "homely" tour shop. A bunch of teenagers worked there. We weren't impressed with the information by our teenage tour guide...but that is ok because it was all about the thrill ride.

What a fun little trip. Justin and I have always wanted to test out the segways too. I'll have to keep my eye open for the Groupon deals!
